Apply on epds.hp.gov.in, the official portal of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Himachal Pradesh. Open epds.hp.gov.in and choose Apply Ration Card (an older procedure uses mobile number and OTP registration). Apply for a ration card in Himachal Pradesh online

  1. Open epds.hp.gov.in and choose Apply Ration Card (an older procedure uses mobile number and OTP registration)
  2. Fill in the form and upload the supporting documents
  3. Note the reference number sent by SMS
  4. After the inspector or Panchayat Secretary approves it, print the card from the ePDS site

  1. Take the forms from the Forms Center of ePDS or the food department and submit them to the local office

Documents to keep ready

  • Aadhaar card number
  • Proof of residence
  • Deletion certificate saying you held no ration card earlier
  • Caste or disability certificate where applicable
