Delhi ration card: apply online, check status and see the list

Apply on edistrict.delhi.gov.in, the official portal of the Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Delhi. Register and log in on the e-District Delhi portal. To check the status of your ration card or your name in the Delhi ration card list, use the links under Check status below.

Apply for a ration card in Delhi online

  1. Register and log in on the e-District Delhi portal
  2. Choose the ration card service and fill in the family details
  3. Upload the documents and submit
  4. After the Food Supply Officer approves it, download the e-Ration Card from the NFS portal or e-District

Apply offline

  1. Apply through a Mobile Sahayak, or at your Circle Office with the filled form and documents

Documents to keep ready

  • Aadhaar of every family member
  • Proof of address, e.g. electricity bill or rent agreement
  • Income certificate or self declaration (for PHH or AAY)
  • Passport size photo of the head of family (usually the eldest woman)
  • Bank passbook
  • Surrender or deletion certificate if you had a card in another state or area

This is the national list. Confirm any extra paper on your state portal.

Card types

AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana) and PHH (Priority Household) cards under NFSA. The department also has an APL form, sold at Fair Price Shops and Circle Offices.

Under NFSA the state issues AAY and PHH cards (nfsa.gov.in).

New NFSA cards are issued only when slots are free under the state quota. Smart plastic cards were issued earlier; the e-Ration Card is now the option.
