How to apply

- Stick it inside the windscreen as the bank explains
- Recharge it with UPI, net banking or card in your bank app or on a payment app
- For the annual pass, open the Rajmargyatra app or the NHAI website and pay the pass fee
- Check that the vehicle details match the VAHAN record
- To close or replace a tag, ask the issuing bank to close the old one before you take a new tag
- For a toll problem call the 1033 helpline
- The annual pass works at about 1,150 fee plazas on national highways and national expressways. State highways and state toll roads charge as usual.
- The annual pass is optional and the money in your FASTag wallet cannot be used to buy it.
- One vehicle can have only one FASTag; older tags for the same vehicle are closed.
- A tag can be blacklisted when KYC is incomplete, the balance is low or it is misused. Contact the issuing bank to clear it.

If you do not have it or miss the deadline
There is no fine for not owning a FASTag. A vehicle without a valid FASTag in a FASTag lane is charged the higher fee set in the National Highways fee rules. Confirm the rate at the plaza.
